An important part of utilizing tools is understanding the context in which tools can best improve learning. Some may feel nervous at the thought of trying to use tools on the web if they are not tech savy but it does not take an expert to figure them out and take advantage of them. Most tools are widely used since they are easy to understand and utilize. Personally I am not good with computers or using new apps but I definitely find some tools that I use at job or through my courses that were self explanatory and I learned very quickly. I do feel it's very beneficial to understand what the tools are to do exactly and want you are to get out of it before using.

There are a number of different tools to be used. There are some for documenting and archiving learning to keep track of what you have found on the web.

I am always considering this when posting on any platform, I like to think that what I am posting will be seen by my employer and if I am not comfortable with them seeing it then maybe I should not be posting it. This was a great chapter learning the tools for documenting and archiving learning, connecting and collaborating, social networking, extending learning in the classroom, and managing your online reputation.
