Duolingo is an amazing app! My two kids and I have used this app to translate and also learn Spanish as my husband and his family are fluent in this language! The only downside is that it is always the proper side of a language and different cultures across different languages adapt their own slang within their language! I personally have my husband adjust what we learn to pertain to his Mexican culture and learned language!
ReplyDeleteHi Randi, This was a very well done presentation as it was very informative, especially for never having heard of the app before. There are so many apps for languages now I wonder how does this app compare to Babbel do you think? It seems very user friendly and I may try the free version to see if it works for me:) Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi Randi, thank you for your presentation. I personally have used the old ways of learning languages with pen and paper, but this seems to facilitate the process. I know that some apps can be basic as it pertains to the content regarding the language, have you ever used it personally? If so, beside the interaction, how is the quality of the language content when it comes to learning the language?
